New Delhi : The Results of All India PMT/PDT Entrance Examination 2012 were declared on Saturday. The anxiety and tension of medical aspirants who appeared for the prestigious All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination (AIPMT) – 2012 was over late on Saturday with the CBSE finally declaring the results.

The Preliminary examination for AIPMT was conducted on April 1. The final exam was held on May 13, 2012. The exam is conducted for the 15% merit positions for the Medical/Dental Colleges of India. Students who have succeeded will now take admissions at various undergraduate medical colleges across the country. The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing merit list to the DGHS as per their instructions.
