New Delhi : The results of the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) 2012 were declared on Saturday (June 9) night. This exam was organised by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) exam is conducted to take admissions in engineering and architecture courses. This year AIEEE exam was conducted in two modes i.e in Online and Offline mode. The date of exams were April 29 for the offline mode exam and May 7, 12, 19 and 26 for the online mode exam.
A ballpark figure of Over 11 lakh students had appeared for this prestigious exam this year, which is a gateway to over 26,000 seats at various top engineering colleges, including the National Institute of Technology (NITs), IIITs, and Delhi Technological University in India.

Toppers of AIEEE 2012 :
The top rank was secured by Delhi’s Sanjeet Patry, who scored 346 out of 360. He belongs to Government Boys Senior Secondary School, Mukherjee Nagar. Among girls, Mansi Sood of DPS Vasant Kunj topped with all India rank of 6 with a score of 336 out of 360. The all India topper of IIT JEE managed to get the ninth rank in AIEEE.
